On Sunday April 10th, 2011 an unusual event was held at the Fox Mill Giant grocery store. WEAR a HAT Theater presented Hats Show Collection FLORA & MUSIC to help promote the Triple Winner Campaign.
The Giant’s shoppers were amazed by this unique hats collection of Ludi Hettick, Art Director of WEAR a HAT Theater, Director of performances, designer of various hats and costumes.

 A Triple Winner Campaign where a buyer wins, the store wins and kids with cancer win lasts till July, 14th 2011. This year it will be six years since Giant and the Baltimore Orioles baseball team have participated in this campaign. With their help since 2005 we have collected 8.5 million dollars.

This year's challenge is $1.5 million. The goal for this store is $15,000 to be reached by July 14, 2011 with your help. 

 

Triple Winner is a scratch card game, and every ticket is a winner.
You have a chance to win free product, gift card, or even cash.
For every $1 donation you will receive a Triple Winner game ticket.
100% of donations will go to the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center
and the Children's Cancer Fund.

This year ambassadors of the Triple Winner Campaign are Austin, Clarissa, Hamza and Tracie.

All of them are local - they are from different parts of Maryland. Please help kids with cancer!

Images represented by the collection of hats are taken from songs and fairy tales. Each presented hat is a very unique. Hats shown included: Poppies, Cornflowers, Chamomiles, Sunflower, Yellow Tulips, Fiery Flower, Purple Roses, Pink Roses, Butterflies on Flowers, Orange’s Flower, Wild Strawberry, Corsair with Flowers on Rainbow, Napoleon-Grapes, and D'Antanyan-Musician.

In addition, especially for this show, Ludi created new hats with use of natural vegetables and fruits from Giant. These were Mr. Pineapple, Surprising Pepper, Carrot-in-Love, Signor Tomato, and Junior Asparagus.

Even the names tickle your imagination not to mention that each hat by Hettick is a true work of art which tells its own story using no words.

Presenting this unique collection at the Giant were models both women and men, young and old: Diana Leibo, Anna Komzolova, Alla Nezheradze, Vera Kim with daughter Victoria (4 years old),  Luda Clark with daughter Irina (3 years old), Irina Grey and David Schwartz.

The host of the show was Yevheniy Burshtyn who did a very nice job.

The hats show had musical accompaniment by Victor Dubenco, musician, vocalist and music-master who played the Clarinet, Saxophone, and Pan-Flute.
