"A Musical Journey Around the World" Balalaika Concert - Maryland

The Washington Balalaika Society, presents "A Musical Journey Around the World," joined by the Kalinka Dance Ensemble of Baltimore. The Kalinka Ensemble is a highly acclaimed regional dance company whose mission is to preserve and disseminate Eastern European folk-dance traditions as a form of traditional art.

The concert program will include a potpourri of musical selections from Ukraine, Russia, Austria, Armenia, Brazil, Italy, Poland, America and more! Our conductor, Peter Omelchenko, will also perform as a soloist on the prima domra with the orchestra.
