Music of the Silk Road featuring Nargiz Aliyarova

New York–based artist Nargiz Aliyarova is an internationally acclaimed pianist and a professor. The concert Music of the Silk Road features composers of three countries of the ancient silk road: Azerbaijan, Turkey and Iran.

Online advance reservations for a given performance date will open on a rolling basis, opening every Wednesday two weeks out from the date.

New York–based artist Nargiz Aliyarova is an internationally acclaimed pianist and a professor. Since her first concert at the age of nine, Aliyarova has been on stage as a soloist, collaborative musician, as well as a performer with chamber and symphonic orchestras in over 40 cities around the world. Her repertoire includes music ranging from baroque to contemporary. She had her Lincoln Center debut in 2018, her Carnegie Hall debut in March of 2022, and her Stern Auditorium Carnegie Hall debut November of 2022.

The concert Music of the Silk Road features composers of three countries of the ancient silk road: Azerbaijan, Turkey and Iran. Internationally acclaimed New York–based pianist Nargiz Aliyarova will present music of these Eastern countries, music not often familiar to American music lovers. 

For all Millennium Stage performances, a limited number of advance reservations are available on a first come, first served basis. Advance reservations do not guarantee a seat, and patrons are encouraged to arrive early.

Online advance reservations for a given performance date will open on a rolling basis, opening every Wednesday two weeks out from the date.

For live Millennium Stage performances free tickets will also be available at the Hall of States Box Office on the day of the performance.

Seating is first come, first served. Standing room is available behind the seated area as space allows.
