The Balalaika and Domra Association of America presents their Russian Festival Concert at Rachel M. Schlesinger Concert Hall on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 7:30pm. The concert brings together musicians from around the world performing Russian, Eastern European and Gypsy folk music, song and dance, and is the culmination of the BDAA’s 39th annual convention taking place in Alexandria, Va., July 16-22.  The performance will feature virtuosi of the balalaika and domra performing in duos, ensembles and with a 100-piece Russian folk orchestra conducted by Svetlana Nikonova.
